Previous backers Opus Capital and Jado Investments also participated in the round, which the company will use to fuel growth. The company, which last month raised $85.5 million in its initial public offering (IPO), will move to 3300 Olcott Street, expanding its space from 45,000 square feet to 105,000 square feet. "We continue to expand our team and have been looking for a suitable location which can support that growth," said Rich Jacquet, the company's vice president of human resources. o State AGs Applaud Progress on Google Privacy; Ask for More

Mountain View, Calif. -- Attorneys general from 23 states on Monday announced progress in their effort to work with Mountain View-based Google to improve how it protects consumer privacy, and called on the company to offer greater transparency and more meaningful privacy controls. "Our concerns have been heard and acted on," said Maryland Attorney General Doug Gansler. "We're pleased this dialogue has produced some progress, but there is still much more to do and we plan to keep up the pressure." The discussions began last year, when 36 attorneys general wrote to CEO Larry Page expressing concerns with the way Google handles consumers' privacy. Since then, they have pressed the company to make improvements in multiple areas, including its consumer education about how information gets combined across Google platforms; its notice to consumers about their existing privacy controls and how to access them; and its transparency to consumers about what information Google is collecting. Their newest letter to Page is available at the link below.
