The investment, through ISSI's Integrated Circuit Solution unit, was part of a $200 million private placement. In return for its investment, ISSI received a 2.4% stake in Nanya. "We believe this is an excellent opportunity to invest in additional capacity to expand our DRAM product line to higher density devices and more advanced process nodes," said Scott Howarth, ISSI's president and CEO.
