Santa Clara, Calif. -- Intel and BlueData on Tuesday announced a broad new strategic technology and business collaboration, as well as an additional equity investment by Intel as part of a $20 million funding round for BlueData. The new strategic relationship will combine BlueData's infrastructure software for big data with data center architecture based on Intel's Xeon processor technology. "The goal is to accelerate the adoption of big data solutions by simplifying deployment," according to the announcement.
