Stockholders will receive $20 a share under the deal, which is expected to close by the end of September. "We believe becoming a private company will provide additional flexibility and better position us to strategically invest in our nascent mobile enterprise business, further our sales programs and accelerate the next stage of the company's growth," said Umang Gupta, Keynote's chairman and CEO, in a statement. The company currently lists its stock on the NASDAQ under the symbol "KEYN." The exact size of the stake was not disclosed. The news comes on the heels of a two-year period in which Fractal has seen revenues nearly triple. Pranay Agrawal, the company's co-founder and executive vice president, said the investment "will help us expand our footprint and meet the growing client demand for analytics solutions."
