The company, which plans to list its stock on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "CHGG," has not revealed details of the offering, such as the number of shares to be sold or their expected price range. o San Francisco-Based RichRelevance Acquires Assets of Precog

San Francisco -- RichRelevance, a San Francisco-based developer of e-commerce personalization tools for retailers, said on Wednesday it will acquire the assets of Colorado-based analytics technology company Precog. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Precog's platform is designed to help companies store, integrate and analyze large volumes of data. RichRelevance plans to integrate Precog's engineering team into data and analytics projects across its research and product development organization. The company plans to retain and expand Precog's office in Boulder, Col., with CEO John De Goes, a graduating member of Boulder's 2011 TechStars program, taking an unspecified role. The announcement follows RichRelevance's May acquisition of Sweden-based Avail.

o Redwood City-Based Equinix Names Charles Meyers as COO

Redwood City, Calif. -- Equinix, a Redwood City-based owner and operator of data centers, on Wednesday named Charles Meyers to the newly created role of COO. Meyers previously served as the company's president of the Americas. The company said the addition of a COO is part of a management reorganization aimed at better serving the needs of customers. Meyers will oversee the company's global sales, marketing, operations and client services functions. Equinix has launched a search to fill its president of the Americas role.

o San Francisco-Based Shutl Names COO, North American Operations Head

San Francisco -- Shutl, the San Francisco-based developer of a platform designed to connect retailers with same-day courier companies, on Wednesday named Sean Cornwell as its COO and Mike Fiorito as its head of North American operations. o Millennial Media to Acquire Jumptap in $225Million Deal

Baltimore -- Looking to pose a more formidable threat to Google in the mobile ad market, Baltimore-based Millennial Media said it will acquire Boston-based counterpart Jumptap in an all-stock deal valued at approximately $225 million. The news sent shares of Millennial plunging nearly 18% in Wednesday's trading on the New York Stock Exchange. Under the agreement, which was based on Millennial's closing price on Friday, Jumptap shareholders will receive 24.6 million shares and own 22.5% of the combined company. Jumptap operates a mobile ad platform and maintains more than 100 million unique audience profiles. The company has 55 issued patents and more than 50 patents pending, covering broad aspects of the mobile ad market. "Millennial Media already runs one of the largest third-party digital media businesses, despite mobile being in its early stages," said CEO Paul Palmieri. "Jumptap's expertise in performance, cross-screen, real-time bidding and third-party data fit well with, and provide incremental scale to Millennial Media's existing platform." George Bell, the CEO of Jumptap, will join Millennial's board as vice chairman.
