Products in the case include chips used in switch-mode power supplies made by the company’s System General subsidiary. In a previous patent infringement case between the two companies, a jury awarded Power Integrations $34 million in damages in 2006. Virtually all of that award was eventually thrown out by a 2013 ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. http://www.fairchildsemi.com http://www.fairchildsemi.com/about-fairchild/media-center/press-releases/20140305-Patent-Case-Verdict.html _____________________________________________ o Microsoft's Bill Gates Reclaims Top Spot on Forbes' Richest Billionaire List New York -- Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates is once again the world's richest billionaire, according to a newly released list by Forbes magazine.
