Los Gatos, Calif. -- Wanderful Media, the Los Gatos-based developer of an online community designed to help retailers bring consumers into local stores, said on Monday it has raised $14.5 million in a new round of funding from its previous media company investors. The company now has raised $50.5 million from an array of media companies, including Advance Digital, A. H. Belo, Community Newspaper Holdings, Cox Media Group, E.W. Scripps, Gannett, GateHouse Media, Graham Holdings, Hearst, Lee Enterprises, MediaNews Group and McClatchy. Wanderful Media owns and operates Find&Save, information about local brick-and-mortar sales available on FindnSave.com and on newspaper sites in each of the top 50 U.S. markets. The company on Monday also announced the launch of Find&Save for Android, which joins its existing apps for iPad and iPhone.

o San Jose-Based SI-Bone Lands $33 Million in New Funding Round

San Jose, Calif. -- SI-Bone, a San Jose-based developer of minimally invasive surgical devices to treat patients with low back issues, said on Monday it has raised $33 million in a new round of funding. New investors Orbimed and Novo A/S participated, along with previous backers Skyline Ventures and Montreux Equity Partners. The company will use the proceeds to expand its U.S. sales organization and add additional resources in R&D, medical affairs, regulatory, compliance and reimbursement. SI also plans to bolster its operations outside the U.S. by pursuing regulatory approvals in more than a dozen countries in Asia, the Middle East and South America, as well as initiating commercialization efforts in Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong. The company's iFuse Implant System, commercially available in the U.S. and Europe, uses a small incision to deliver titanium implants as part of sacroiliac joint fusion.

o San Francisco-Based RadiumOne Fires CEO Gurbaksh Chahal

San Francisco -- RadiumOne, a San Francisco-based developer of software for digital marketers that automates the process of media buying, said its board of directors on Saturday fired founder Gurbaksh Chahal as its chairman and CEO. The move came more than a week after Chahal pled guilty to two misdemeanor battery charges stemming from an August 2013 fight with his ex-girlfriend, according to Fortune. The company has named COO Bill Lonergan as its new CEO. Lonergan is the former CFO of Tapjoy and BlueLithium. RadiumOne is backed by Adams Street Partners, Trinity Ventures, Crosslink Capital and DFJ Esprit.

o Santa Clara-Based Gigamon Says CFO to Step Down

Santa Clara, Calif. -- Gigamon, a Santa Clara-based developer of traffic visibility networking tools that last year raised $85.5 million in its initial public offering (IPO), said on Monday that Duston Williams will step down as its CFO. Williams, who has served asa CFO since 2012, plans to take a new job with an unspecified company. He will continue through June 6, then remain in an advisory capacity through August. Ravi Narula, Gigamon's chief accounting officer, will serve as interim CFO until a permanent replacement is found.

Deloitte Seeking Nominations for 2014 Technology Fast 500

Accounting and advisory firm Deloitte said it is seeking nominations for its 2014 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, an annual ranking of the fastest growing private technology, media, telecom, life sciences and clean tech companies in North America. Winners are selected based on their percentage revenue growth from 2009-2013. Nominations, which kicked off earlier this month, will be accepted through June 27 at the link below. Ranking will be released Nov. 13.
