First Round Capital, Google Ventures and SV Angel also took part in the round, which increases the company's total backing to $15.1 million since its inception in early 2013. URX's technology lets developers and marketers intelligently route organic, outbound and paid traffic to their mobile apps, increasing conversions and user engagement. The company currently works with brands such as Spotify, HotelTonight and Threadflip. "In today's connected world, we access information on many screens and across many apps. Unfortunately, this increase in viewing options has created stumbling blocks in how we navigate our content," said CEO John Milinovich. "Often, you find yourself behind a sign-in wall for an app you've already installed, or trying to buy something on the mobile web instead of through an app." http://www.urx.com http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20140501006293/en/URX-Secures-12-Million-Series-Funding-Led#.U2KNh4FdXng _____________________________________________ o WSJ: Los Altos-Based Box May Delay IPO for Several Weeks Los Altos, Calif. -- Box, the Los Altos-based developer of an online file sharing and collaboration service, may delay its upcoming initial public offering (IPO) following a recent weakening in demand for technology stocks, the Wall Street Journal reported.
