Previous backers Bessemer Venture Partners, Index Ventures and Bullpen Capital also participated, along with Singapore-based Enspire Capital. Ajay Royan, the co-founder and managing general partner of Mithril, has joined the company's board. DoubleDutch will use the funding to expand its global presence, build out its technical teams and develop new features. DoubleDutch now has raised $37.5 million in funding since its founding in 2011. Previous backer Aligned Partners also participated in the round, which the company will use to expand business operations, including sales and marketing activities. Zumigo's technology authorizes transactions through customer location, using location and network data to identify the right customer with the right device. The purchase price likely would top $1 billion, people familiar with the matter told the publication. Twitch has more than 50 million monthly active users of its service, which allows users to broadcast their own gameplay sessions to online viewers. The company, launched in 2011, has raised about $35 million from investors including Bessemer Venture Partners, Alsop Louie Partners, WestSummit Capital, Take-Two Interactive Software, Thrive Capital and Draper Associates. Park plans to move to Silicon Valley by the end of August, where he will become part of a White House team focused on recruiting technology talent. Park was named to his current role in early 2012 after previously serving as CTO of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Omnicell said it will integrate Surgichem with its existing U.K. business, MTS Medication Technologies.
