The company has yet to disclose specific details of the offering, such as the number of shares to be sold or their expected price range. Morgan Stanley; Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Citigroup are listed as lead underwriters. The company, which now has raised $312 million since its inception, said the round was led by two Boston-based public market investors, though it didn't disclose their identities. Nutanix delivers web-scale converged infrastructure to more than 800 customers, including Airbus, China Merchant Bank, Honda, ConocoPhillips, Total SA, Toyota, US Navy and Yahoo Japan. Digital Garage led the round, which included participation from previous backers Amazon, Bessemer Venture Partners and Institutional Venture Partners. "Because Japan is a culture steeped in fandom and famous for creating video games, anime and comics -- many of which anchor some of the largest Japanese and global communities in Wikia -- this makes it a very logical and strategic country for Wikia's global business expansion," said Craig Palmer, the company's president and CEO. Participants included Menlo Ventures; Winklevoss Capital; Logitech; DeNA; XG Ventures; FreedomPop CEO Stephen Stokols and Hossein Eslambolchi, the former CTO of AT&T. The company also said it has formed a development partnership with design firm Astro Studios, designers of the Nike FuelBand and Xbox 360. Zuli said it will use the funds to bring its first product, the Zuli Smartplug, to market.
