Lightspeed Venture Partners and Bloomberg Beta also took part in the round, which the company will use to "build our team to scale and meet this demand," according to co-founder and CEO Christopher Nguyen. Adatao in December released its inaugural products -- tools designed to let users fluidly interact with big data and to quickly analyze massive amounts of data. The syndicate is aiming to raise $500,000 from angles investors. "AngelList played an important role in our Series A financing and we valued the relationships that emerged from that round," said Chris Hulls, the co-founder and CEO of Life360. "We had a lot of interest from some great angels to join our Series C, but we did not have the capacity to add them individually. This relationship with AngelList allows us to bring in a prominent group of angel investors at this later stage in our growth." Founded in 2008, Life360 is a free app for Apple and Android devices that uses location-based technology to help its users stay connected through a private map and chat stream, regular check-ins and "panic alerts." Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The platform is currently used by 45,000 individuals and small businesses in 170 countries. In addition, the company has hired Symform's development team, including CTO and co-founder Bassam Tabbara, to help build out the offerings.
