o San Francisco-Based Getaround Lands $45 Million in Third Round

San Francisco -- Getaround, the San Francisco-based developer of a peer-to-peer car-sharing platform, said on Thursday it has raised $45 million in its third round of funding, led by Braemar Energy Ventures. Toyota Motor Corp. and SAIC Capital, the investment arm of Shanghai Automotive, also participated, as well as previous backers Menlo Ventures and Triangle Peak Partners.
