o Santa Clara-Based LeanTaaS Lands $26 Million Investment from IVP

Santa Clara, Calif. -- LeanTaaS, a Santa Clara-based developer of software for healthcare providers, said on Tuesday it has landed a new $26 million investment from Insight Venture Partners (IVP) in its second round of funding. The company said it will use the proceeds to further bolster its core iQueue platform, a cloud service that works with any electronic health record system. The platform uses predictive analytics and machine learning to help more than 40 hospitals and infusion centers keep expensive assets like infusion chairs, operating rooms, diagnostic imaging equipment and inpatient beds from being over- or underutilized. The company said the technology reduces wait times for appointments and surgeries by up to 50%, while also increasing g patient access and improving operational performance through increased revenue and reduced costs. "This investment from Insight Venture Partners is a strong validation of our approach and will enable us to dramatically accelerate our growth over the coming years," said founder and CEO Mohan Giridharadas.

o San Francisco-Based TrueAccord Raises $22 Million in Second Round

San Francisco -- TrueAccord, the San Francisco-based developer of a data-driven debt collection platform, said on Tuesday it has raised $22 million in its second round of funding, led by Arbor Ventures. Nyca Investment Partnership, Assurant Growth Investing, Caffeinated Capital Fund, Felicis Venture, TenOneTen and Crystal Towers also participated in the round. The company, which was founded in 2013, said it will use the latest funding to fuel the ongoing development of its platform, which is designed to help businesses collect more debt online than traditional methods. Clients include top 10 issuers, leading creditors, and technology companies such as Yelp and LendUp, with more than $1.5 billion of debt flowing through the platform since 2014.
