Yelp said SeatMe's technology will allow its local restaurant and bar customers to offer online reservations. "With approximately one million U.S. businesses listed on Yelp in the restaurant and nightlife categories, we believe SeatMe will add online reservation capabilities to a broader market while complementing our existing partnerships," said Jeremy Stoppelman, Yelp's co-founder and CEO. Nearly three-quarters of all angel funding occurred in the Internet, healthcare and mobile sectors, with 81% of investments taking place in the angel groups' home state. "The market for angel investing is solid: pre-money valuations are stable, round sizes are trending up and market activity is spread widely throughout the U.S.," said Rob Wiltbank, the vice chairman of research at the Angel Resource Institute.
