Satellite firm DirecTV's deal with the league expires at the end of 2014. The company reportedly pays $1 billion a year for the right to broadcast NFL games. "We are constantly looking for ways to make our game better on the field, in the stadium and for fans. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Texas-based Abila, known until last month as Sage Nonprofit Solutions, said the acquisition will make it one of the largest providers of software to the nonprofit, association and membership sectors. The company, which now serves a combined customer base of 8,000 organizations, said it will retain Avectra's existing offices in Virginia, Chicago and Florida. The BSA said that David Thompson sold the products, from San Jose-based Adobe and Mountain View-based Symantec, through his website, www.littlesoftshop.com. The organization originally filed suit against Thompson in a Connecticut federal court on behalf of Adobe and Symantec.
