Jennifer Tejada, most recently the executive vice president and chief strategy officer of Mincom, will succeed retiring CEO Umang Gupta. Keynote will remain headquartered in San Mateo. The deal first was announced in early July. SanDisk said it will combine Smart with its Enterprise Storage Solutions, which will be led by John Scaramuzzo, Smart's president. Previous backers Morningside Group and Devon Park Bioventures also participated in the round, which the company will use to fund the U.S. development of an oral antibiotic codenamed MRX-1. The company said the funds, in the form of a long-term shareholder loan, will accelerate its expansion into the U.S. and Australian markets. Founded in 2008, NakedWines.com is backed by about 150,000 "angel" customers, who help fund independent wine makers in exchange for exclusivity and wholesale pricing. Orlando again tops the rankings, which are based on booking activity in Cvent's supplier network. Chicago, Las Vegas, Atlanta and San Diego round out the top five.
