New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Lightbank and 7-Ventures also participated. Belly's platform, which includes an in-store tablet, is designed to help businesses drive customers back more often, establish social connections with them, facilitate online customer reviews, target new customer audiences and gain data and analytics on customer behavior. Financial terms of the deal, which is expected to close by the end of October, were not disclosed. With the acquisition, Flextronics Medical plans to create a European Center of Excellence for precision plastics in Switzerland. Tustin-based mophie, best known for its "juice pack" portable battery cases for iPhones, is alleging trademark infringement, copyright infringement and unfair competition, among other claims. The suit, which also names supplier Source Vista, seeks an unspecified amount of damages and an injunction against further sales.
