The company also announced three key hires, naming Lisa Bougie as its chief merchandising officer, Meredith Dunn as its vice president of styling and Jennifer Olsen as its CMO. In addition, new board members will include Bill Gurley, a general partner at Benchmark, Marka Hansen, the former president of North America at Gap and Banana Republic; and John Fleming, the former chief merchandising officer of Walmart and CEO of Walmart.com. Founded in 2011, Stitch Fix uses a combination of proprietary styling algorithms and trained stylists to ship five hand-selected items to clients to try on at home. "We expect all U.S. government facilities to open, stop work orders to be lifted and for our operations to return to normal as soon as our customers are all back in place and have informed us that we may resume many critical programs that were halted during the shutdown," the company said in a statement. The agreement late Wednesday ended the 16-day shutdown, funding the government through Jan. 15. Lockheed, which operates Bay Area facilities in Livermore, Mountain View, San Jose and Sunnyvale. urged government officials to avoid the possibility of yet another shutdown early next year.
