The company, which also counts Andreessen Horowitz, SV Angel and Y Combinator among its backers, said it will use the latest funding to continue marketing its mobile app, while improving user experience. General Catalyst's Neil Sequeira will join the company's board. Listia allows users to trade in unwanted items for spendable credits. Credits can then be applied to any item posted on the site. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The latest investment comes nearly four months after the company landed $1.5 million from Canada's Build Ventures. It earlier had received funding from Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology (CIT), Fortify VC, Growthworks Atlantic and the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF). Introhive was co-founded last year by Jody Glidden and Stewart Walchli, who formerly led Chalk Media.
