o Confidence of Silicon Valley Venture Capitalists Reaches Six-Year High

San Francisco -- The confidence of Bay Area venture capitalists is now at a six-year high, according to the nearly released third quarter Silicon Valley Venture Capitalist Confidence Index. The index, produced by University of San Francisco professor Mark Cannice, registered a 3.02 out of 5, based on surveys of 36 San Francisco-area venture capitalists. The figure rose significantly from last quarter's 3.78, marking the fifth straight quarterly increase and the highest measure of confidence since the third quarter of 2007.
