Mike Potter, Therma-Flite's CEO, said the company will use the proceeds "to introduce new products within our core markets and expand our plants in Benicia, California and El Dorado, Arkansas." The company's Bio-Scru technology converts municipal sewage sludge into Class A biosolids, which can be used to replace chemical fertilizers in parks and recreational areas. The company sold 6.85 million shares for $11 each -- below earlier price targets of as much as $19 -- and expects about $67.4 million in net proceeds. Shares, now trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker symbol "RLYP," closed at $12.07.
