The deal was first announced in September. Chris Crowell, the former CEO of Enterasys, is now the COO of Extreme Networks. Extreme said it will continue supporting both companies' products, with plans to incorporate some of Enterasys' features into its ExtremeXOS network operating system within the next two years. Financial terms of the deal, first announced in August, were not disclosed. With the acquisition, Flextronics Medical plans to create a European Center of Excellence for precision plastics in Switzerland. Pandjiris most recently was a vice president with Morgan Stanley, and earlier was an investment banker with UBS. He will be based in the firm's Palo Alto headquarters. Hercules also has named Christopher Parham as principal of its Life Science Group in Palo Alto and Mark Roesler as portfolio credit manager in Boston.
