With the funding, the company said it has formed two separate corporate entities to focus on growth in cloud contact center software and on-demand agent services. Financial terms of the deal, Keynote's first since itself being acquired last summer by private equity firm Thoma Brova, were not disclosed. The acquisition gives Keynote technology addressing the growing problem of SIM box fraud, the interception of international calls and theft of interconnection fees. Other previous backers also took part in in the funding, which the company will use to ramp up sales and marketing of its software. The technology first analyzes video streams in real time to determine where the most fans are aiming their devices. It then broadcasts live streaming video to stadium scoreboards, fan mobile devices and live TV. Clients so far include Stanford Athletics and the Sacramento Kings. "The 'killer' combo is our technology, which knows where people are looking, and Google Glass, which can be activated with head movements," said CEO Jon Fisher.
