Financial terms of the deal, expected to be completed by the end of February, were not disclosed. AirPatrol has four U.S. and 11 foreign patent applications pending for its location, security and context awareness systems that can detect smartphones, tablets, laptops and other mobile devices. AirPatrol will become a unit of Sysorex, and retain its management and operations. Agilent announced plans to split into two last August.
