Previous investor Oak Investment Partners also participated in the round, which increases the company's total funding to $38 million. Mimosa said it will use the additional capital to expand its wireless product line and significantly ramp sales growth. The company said the incident compromised a database containing encrypted passwords and other data such as customer names, addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and dates of birth. eBay said there was no unauthorized access to financial or credit card information, which is stored separately in encrypted formats. The attack occurred between late February and early March. The company said it will use the proceeds to accelerate product development and expand sales of its technology. Philippe Vincent, the CEO of Load DynamiX, said his company offers "the only way to properly plan and deploy these new storage technologies without the risk of unpredictable response times, unplanned outages and uncontrolled over-investment in equipment."
