The settlement, with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and attorneys general of all 50 states and DC, will allow current and former AT&T customers who paid for unauthorized third-party charges after Jan. 1, 2009 to apply for refunds at the link below. AT&T becomes the first mobile provider to enter into a national settlement to resolve allegations regarding cramming. The number of IT jobs grew 0.1% for the month to nearly 4.7 million, with 161,000 jobs added over the past year, according to new figures from the TechServe Alliance, a national trade association for the IT and engineering staffing industry. Engineering jobs also grew modestly in September, up 0.1% to 2.5 million.
