Initial investments by the Intel Capital Diversity Fund include San Francisco-based Brit + Co, Miami-based CareCloud, San Francisco-based Mark One and Salt Lake City-based Venafi. Aside from capital, all will gain access to the firm's business development programs, global network and technology expertise. "Our goal with this new fund is to meaningfully support a technology startup workforce more reflective of society, and ultimately to benefit Intel and the broader economy through its success," said Intel CEO Brian Krzanich. Lisa Lambert, managing director and vice president of Intel Capital, will lead the new fund.
