San Francisco -- Wrap Media, the San Francisco-based developer of a mobile-first storytelling and commerce platform, said on Thursday it has raised an additional $4 million in funding as part of a partnership with Dream Incubator. The news comes just six months after the company raised $12.7 million in its second round. The company, which now has raised $25.2 million since its inception, said it will use the proceeds to build its presence throughout Japan and other Asian markets. "It's always been an important next step in our growth strategy to have a footprint in Asia," said Eric Greenberg, the founder and CEO of Wrap.

o Origami Logic Moves HQ to Mountain View, Hires Key Executives

Mountain View, Calif. -- Origami Logic, a developer of marketing intelligence tools that recently raised $25 million in its third round of funding, said on Thursday it has relocated its headquarters from Menlo Park to a larger facility in Mountain View, doubling its office space to support expansion plans. The company, now located at 303 Bryant Street in Mountain View, also has named Steven Wastie as its chief marketing officer (CMO) and Mark Lambert as its chief financial officer (CFO). Wastie most recently was the CMO at AppDynamics, while Lambert was the CFO of ClearSlide. Origami said last fall that it planned to more than double the size of its employee base over the next year, with a focus on growing existing engineering, sales and marketing teams. The company's platform is designed to help brands make more informed marketing decisions by collecting and organizing disparate marketing data. Clients include Visa, JCPenney, Cisco, Intel, Omni Hotels and Pernod Ricard.

San Francisco -- Clickable, the New York-based developer of a social monitoring and reputation management platform , said on Thursday it has acquired San Francisco-based Talkwheel.com, developer of a visually interactive community platform designed to analyze a brand's social media. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Clickable said the acquisition will bolster its ability to offer a social community component, accelerating brand engagement for customers. "Combining Talkwheel's consumer facing offering with Clickable's leading social media monitoring and reputation platform, allows us to now have one of the most well rounded solutions in the social marketing space," said CEO Mike Onghai. Talkwheel will continue to function as an independent company.
